Metzger Park

Tucked away on the Eastern side of Washington County lies a park with a rich community history.

With seven-acres of tree-covered trails, open lawn, and play spaces, Metzger Park works to reconnect the Metzger community with nature and play, giving access to the wildness and spirit of discovery even in the midst of bustling city life. Located at the corner of Hall and Hemlock, the park is only a two-minute drive from Washington Square. With a quiet family-friendly environment, it offers access to play structures, horseshoe pits, basketball hoops, and tennis courts.

Metzger Park is also home to the Patricia D. Whiting Hall; a community space perfect for a wide-variety of events. Information on renting out the hall, including applicable fees.

Metzger Park is partially funded by a special improvement district, MPLID.  Learn more about this district and view its boundary map.

Metzger Park Improvements

Completed in June 2025, the pathways at the park were extended and enhanced to create a user-friendly and all-weather loop.

We have partnered with the Tualatin Soil and Water Conservation District on an exciting beautification project, the Metzger Park Native Plant Demonstration Gardens.
