Now Featuring: 2024 Fall/Winter StoryWalk® 

A StoryWalk® is a hike in a natural area that features the pages of a storybook mounted along the trail. Currently, Washington County Parks is featuring the bilingual (English/Spanish) picture book My Mind is a Mountain. 

My Mind is a Mountain is a metaphor for the heights a mind can reach in powerfully handling all emotions from the lowest of the lows to the highest of the highs - and everything in between. This beautiful story was written by Cindy Montenegro with illustrations by Nqobile Adigun.

The half-mile hike begins at the trailhead of Cedar Grove (#32), and is a family-friendly activity for all ages.
