Washington County Parks is excited to announce a new public art installation at Hagg Lake. The Hagg Lake Flock is located at Sain Creek Pavilion and features nine bird sculptures designed, carved and painted by local artist Martin Conley

Conley salvaged alder and maple from the park to carve the sculptures for this piece. The installation can be viewed at the Sain Creek Pavilion.

"Public art projects elevate the beauty of Hagg Lake, and allow us to showcase local artists, like Martin Conley," says Karine Kadyan, Parks Management Analyst. "I'm excited to continue uniting art and nature through our programming and making art accessible to lake patrons."

Please note, pavilions are available for rental for various events, and may be occupied. You can see a schedule of when the space is reserved for a private event, or request to rent the pavilion here.

Parks unveiled their first public art project in June 2022. The Hagg Lake Heron a mural at C-Ramp.
